2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream the first 3 ingredients together, then add eggs, one at a time. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix all together well. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
