MOTHER'S NEVER FAILING BERRY
FRUIT CAKE
 
1/4 lb. butter, cream together with
1 c. sugar, add
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Apples, peaches or berries for top

Mix with wooden spoon in order given. Bake in 8-inch pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
