CLOUDS AT SUNRISE | |
6 egg whites, beaten 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1 c. nuts, chopped 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. saltines, crushed 1 can cherry pie filling 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add cream of tartar to egg whites and continue beating. Add the next 4 ingredients in order and continue mixing. Pour into 9 x 12 inch baking dish which has been heavily buttered. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool. Top with Cool Whip and then pour cherry pie filling over all. |
