1 c. butter
2/3 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. sugar (granulated)
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 dozen foil wrapped chocolate kisses

Cream butter and peanut butter; add sugars and beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla - beat until smooth. Stir in flour sifted with soda and salt. Mix well. using level teaspoon of dough shape into balls. Roll each in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Press unwrapped kiss into top of each cookie and bake 2 minutes longer.

Makes about 5 dozen.
