BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs (if you double the recipe, use 3)
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. flour (part whole wheat adds flavor)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour milk or yogurt

Mix first 6 ingredients. Sift flour, salt, and soda. Add alternately with sour milk or yogurt. Bake in loaf pan at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

In PNG where we have a constant supply of bananas, I use this recipe nearly once a week. My favorite!
