TOASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS 
Seeds from 1 pumpkin, fiber discarded
1 tsp. butter, butter or cooking oil
Salt or seasoned salt to taste

Place seeds in a strainer and rinse well. Drain. Melt butter. Add this to pumpkin seeds and stir to coat. Arrange 1 layer deep in shallow pan. Sprinkle with salt. Bake in slow oven (250 degrees) stirring 2 to 3 times, until golden brown (30 to 40 minutes).
