PECAN PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 to 2 c. pecans
3 eggs beaten

Allow butter to soften at room temperature. Mix sugar and flour, cream butter with sugar and flour mixture. Add corn syrup and eggs. Beat with mixer until frothy. Add salt, vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell and bake 45 minutes at 325°F.
