2 c. self-rising flour 3/4 c. buttermilk 1 1/4 c. oil Preheat oven to 375 degrees using a cast iron skillet (400 degrees if not). I prefer cast iron. Put flour in large bowl. Make a hole in middle. Pour buttermilk and oil mixture in and stir about 10 to 15 strokes. Put flour on your hands and knead dough just enough to roll into your hands without sticking to your fingers. Put in greased skillet and cook about 20 minutes. Enjoy! |
