BROWN SUGAR - CREAM CHEESE POUND
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
2 c. light brown sugar
6 eggs
2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 2 ingredients; beat well with mixer. Gradually add sugar, beat until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture; beat well. Stir in vanilla.

Pour into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely.
