BEEF BRISKET BARBECUE | |
4-5 lb. well-trimmed beef brisket 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke 1/4 tsp. pepper Rub surface of brisket with salt. Place in prepared baking bag OR 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over beef. Close baking bag OR cover pan and bake at 325 degrees until tender, about 3 hours. Cut thin, diagonal slices, across grain at an angle from 2-3 "faces" of beef. Spoon remaining juices over sliced beef. |
