CARAMEL ICING 
1 box brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. canned milk

Stir contents slowly on simmer until dissolved. Add a dash of salt. Let come to a boil, then thicken. (Cook about 4 minutes.) Remove from heat and let set to cool slightly. Then beat cool so it will be light. Add teaspoon of vanilla.
