SPICY RAISIN COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. broken walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 c. raisins

Cream together butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture; mix well. Spread half the batter in greased 9x9x2 inch pan.

Mix nuts, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half over batter. Top with raisins. Spoon on remaining batter. Top with reserved nut mixture. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
