SLIPPERY SALL'S PICKLES 
6 qt. peeled, seeded, large yellow cucumbers in chunks
4 or 5 med. onions, chopped
2 red peppers, chopped
2 green peppers
5 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. turmeric
3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard

Mix turmeric, vinegar and mustard to make paste. Add to chopped mixture. Add sugar, mix well. Cook over medium heat until cucumbers are transparent. Place in hot jars and seal.
