RAISIN COOKIES 
2 c. seedless raisins
3/4 lb. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
4 c. non sift all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Rinse and drain raisins. Cream butter with sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Mix salt with flour, and blend into creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Stir in raisins. Drop by teaspoonsful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F.) 6 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly on baking sheet. Remove carefully with spatula. Yield: approximately 54 cookies.
