HOMEMADE BREAD | |
5 lb. Gold Medal all purpose flour 5 pkg. dry yeast 3/4 c. warm water 1 3/4 tbsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. Wesson oil Dissolve yeast in warm water. Put flour, salt, sugar, oil, and dissolved yeast in large bowl or pot. Use enough warm water to mix and make dough firm. Let rise 1 hour while covered. Grease 4 loaf pans. Divide dough into 4 equal loaves, put in loaf pans. Cover and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350-375 degrees for 50-60 minutes. When done, empty out, grease tops with butter. Wrap in foil. |
