1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/4 c. white Karo
small strawberry Jell-O
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 baked pie shell
1 qt. strawberries

Cook first 5 ingredients until thick and clear. Add strawberry Jell-O and red food coloring. Mix until dissolved. Put berries in pie shell. Pour topping over berries. Top with Cool Whip.
