CUCUMBERS AND SOUR CREAM | |
4 med. cucumbers 1 tbsp. salt 1 c. sour cream 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. chopped onions 1/4 tsp. sugar Minced garlic Pare cucumbers and slice paper thin. Sprinkle with salt. Let stand 30 minutes; stir a couple of times. Rinse, squeeze out water. Roll in towel and squeeze to take out excess water. Make sauce of following: Sour cream, vinegar, onion and sugar. Sprinkle well with minced garlic. Keep refrigerated until used. You can use less cream if you like. |
