AUNT CATHERINE'S RICOTTA CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix

Mix as directed and set aside.

TOPPING:

2 lbs. Ricotta cheese
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour cake batter into greased 9 x 13 inch pan or Pyrex dish. Mix topping ingredients together and pour over cake batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until knife comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve chilled.
