ZUCCHINI "APPLE" CRISP 
4 c. sliced zucchini
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt

TOPPING:

1 c. Bisquick mix
1/3 c. brown or white sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Peel zucchini and cut lengthwise. Remove seeds and cut into slices as for apples. Cook just until tender. Drain, then place in ice cold water for 5 minutes. Drain in colander thoroughly. Measure dry ingredients into large bowl, add zucchini and mix well. Put in pie pan or 8"x8" dish.
