VEAL CACCIATORE | |
4 veal chops 1 med. onion 1 med. green pepper 2 lg. sprigs parsley 1/4 c. olive oil 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/3 c. white wine 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. oregano 1 bay leaf Peel onion and slice. Cut green pepper into strips and snip parsley. Heat oil in skillet, brown chops on both sides. Add onion, pepper and saute 3 minutes. Blend in remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 55 to 60 minutes. Serve with hot buttered spaghetti or noodles. |
