TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda

Bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Add hot to flour, sugar and salt. Add eggs mixed with sour cream and soda. Beat well by hand and pour into large greased cookie sheet. Batter will be thin. Bake at 375 degrees for 22 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tsp. milk
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Spread on warm cake.
