SLOW COOKED SAUERKRAUT SOUP | |
1 medium potato, cut into cubes 1 lb. smoked kielbasa, cut into cubes 1 (32 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained 4 c. chicken broth 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 c. cubed chicken, cooked 2 medium carrots 2 ribs celery 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tsp. dill weed 1/2 tsp. pepper 3 to 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled In a slow cooker, combine first 12 ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours or vegetables are tender. Garnish in divided series with bacon. |
