SOFT CARAMELS 
1 c. butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Dash salt
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Boil to soft ball stage and add vanilla and nuts. Put in 2 buttered 8" pans. Cool and cut in squares and put on tray and freeze for 1 hour. Dip in melted chocolate.
