GRIDDLE CAKES 
1 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, melted

Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg; add milk. Stir into dry ingredients; mix. Add melted butter. Heat griddle oven high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Pour cakes. Brown on one side, turn and brown on other side. Makes 11 medium size cakes.
