CABBAGE PATCH STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
2 med. onions, sliced thin
1 sm. head cabbage, sliced thin
1/4 c. Wesson oil
1 med. can Ranch style beans
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Brown beef, onions and cabbage in oil. Add 2 cups of water and let simmer for 15 minutes. Add can of beans and can of tomatoes (cut up tomatoes. and cook slowly for 30 minutes. May serve with corn bread.
