SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 slice white bread, without crust, crumbled
1 sm. raw potatoes, cubed
1 onion, cut fine
1/2 tsp. allspice
Dash of black pepper
Dash of nutmeg
1 egg, unbeaten
Hot water to moisten
1 tsp. sugar, as desired

Mix all ingredients well. Shape into small balls. Fry slowly. Drain on paper towels.
