FROZEN CREAM PEAS 
2 pkgs. frozen peas, cooked & drained
5 to 6 slices of bacon, cut up, cooked until crisp

Put bacon aside. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Add 4 or 5 scallions, chopped. Cook until tender. Add 2 tablespoons flour and stir. Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups chicken broth. Stir until thickened. Add peas and bacon. Sprinkle a little crisp bacon on top when ready to serve.
