SAVORY PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak (cut in strips)
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 sm. clove garlic
1 tbsp. beef flavor gravy base
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 lg. green peppers

Cut steak in strips, combine flour, salt and pepper to coat meat strips. In large skillet add oil, brown meat strips. Add tomato liquid, water, onion, garlic and gravy base to meat. Simmer 1 1/4 hours uncovered. Stir in Worcestershire and green pepper strips; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add drained tomatoes and cook 5 minutes more. Serve over hot cooked rice.
