RASPBERRY CORDIAL 
1 c. ripe raspberries
2 c. brandy
3/4 c. sugar syrup

Put the raspberries in a jar and add the brandy. As with most perishable fruits, it is very important that the raspberries be completely covered with brandy. If they are not, more brandy should be added. Close the jar well, and give a strong shaking. Let it steep for one week and strain through a wire strainer, crushing any unbroken berries to get all the juice. Add the sugar syrup and strain through the cloth.
