PSJ'S BEST MONKEY BREAD | |
3 cans refrigerator biscuits (any kind) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (if desired) 1/2 cup maple syrup Preheat over to 350°F. Using non-stick cooking spray (Pam or Baker's Joy) prepare Bundt pan. Melt butter and brown sugar in microwave until melted; stir to mix and cook on high one minute. Put about 1/4 quarter of chopped nuts in bottom of Bundt pan. Pour about 1/3 cup maple syrup into bottom of Bundt pan over the nuts. Cut biscuits into quarters. Place granulated sugar and cinnamon into large plastic bag. Shake to mix. Put 1 can cut biscuits in bag, shake until all pieces are covered. Continue to do this layering the biscuits and nuts until all the biscuits have been used. Pour remaining maple syrup over biscuits. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
