4 1/4 c. quick oats 1 c. peanuts 1 c. almonds (or macadamia nuts) 5 1/2 c. Rice Krispies 1/2 lb. Nucoa butter 1 c. and 1 rounded tbsp. peanut butter 2 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows 3/4 c. wheat germ 3 c. raisins (or 1 c. raisins and 2 pkg. dried chopped fruit) Toast oats, nuts and Rice Krispies in large pan with sides in 300 degree oven until lightly browned and heated. Melt butter, peanut butter and marshmallows in large pot, stirring constantly until smooth. Mix raisins and wheat germ with oat mixture. Pour butter mixture over and mix well. Press in large jelly roll pan (17 x 11 1/2). Let cool before cutting. Makes about 100 (1 x 3 inch) bars. Wrap individually in waxed paper if desired. |
