LEMON POUND CAKE | |
4 eggs 1 pkg. (2 layer) yellow cake mix 1 sm. pkg. instant lemon pudding 3/4 c. water 1/3 c. oil 2 c. powdered sugar 1/3 c. lemon juice Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Add cake mix, pudding, water and oil. Beat 10 minutes at medium speed and electric beater. Pour into ungreased 10 inch tube pan with a removable bottom. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes. Leaving cake on pan bottom, remove sides of pan from hot cake. Using 2 tined forks, prick holes in top of cake. In saucepan, combine powdered sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to boiling. Drizzle over top and spread on sides of cake. Cool completely. Remove pan from bottom. |
