SOUR DOUGH STARTER 
2 c. unsifted plain flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in bowl; stir well. Add water and beat to smooth the batter. Add vinegar and cover with a cloth and set in a warm place until fairly sour (approximately 12 hours). To replenish starter, stir in 2 cups warm water and 2 cups flour. Keep covered in refrigerator until all used up.
