STUFFED PORK OR LAMB CHOPS 
6 lg. pork or lamb chops
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 onion, minced
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. hot water

Mix crumbs, melted butter, seasoning, and beaten egg. Add the hot water to make a bread stuffing. Saute chops in a little fat until slightly brown. Place in a roasting pan. Add 1 cup hot water and the fat in which chops were fried (I do not add the fat). Cove and steam or bake slowly for 1 hour. Serves 6.
