3 (1 lb. ea.) boxes powdered sugar 3 cups crushed Rice Krispies cereal 2 cups peanut butter 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar (or 12 oz. bag chocolate chips) 1/3 box Gulf (Paraffin) wax Combine sugar, crushed Rice Krispies, butter and peanut butter. Roll into small balls. Melt chocolate and wax in a double boiler.* Dip balls in chocolate to coat completely. Set on wax paper to dry. Note: If you don't have a double boiler, you can substitute 2 pots. Fill one pot abut half full with water; bring to a boil. Lower heat. Place another pot on top to melt chocolate and wax in. Submitted by: Debbie Detmer |
