SUMMER SAUSAGE 
5 lbs. ground beef
5 tsp. Morton quick salt
2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
2 1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. liquid smoke

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate. For the next three nights, take out of the refrigerator, mix thoroughly, put back in refrigerator. On the fourth day, shape into four loaves, bake on a broiler pan in oven at 150 degrees for 8 hours. Cool loaves and wrap in foil. Store in refrigerator. Can be frozen.
