BLACK WALNUT-APPLE POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
3 c. diced raw apples

Sift flour, salt and soda together. Mix oil, sugar, eggs and apples. Slowly add flour mixture to this. Add 2 teaspoons black walnut flavoring and 2 to 3 cups chopped black walnuts. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes in lightly greased and floured tube bundt pan. Let cake cool before taking out.
