1 c. butter 1/2 c. 10X sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. (or more) chopped pecans Optional - chocolate chips Mix all ingredients. Roll small balls. Place on cookie sheet (they do not spread). Bake at 400 degrees until set but not brown. Roll in 10X sugar as soon as they come out of oven. Let cool completely and roll in sugar again. Store in airtight containers. These cookies keep well. |
