HARVEST BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pared and finely chopped apple
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in apple, cheese and nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove from pan; cool on rack. Makes one loaf.
