FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. finely chopped apples
1 (16 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add flour, baking soda and powder, salt and cinnamon, beating well after each addition. Stir in morsels, nuts and apples. Mixture will be thick. Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
