CHOCOLATE THUMBPRINTS 
1 c. marg.
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, save whites
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. melted chocolate, semisweet
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground nuts
1 lg. pkg. choc. kisses

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients. Separate bowl mix flour and salt. Add to first bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls. (If dough is too soft refrigerate for 1/2 hour). Mix your egg whites. Dip balls in egg whites. Then roll in ground nuts.

Put on baking pan and press thumb print in center. Bake 10 to 12 minutes only. Immediately put chocolate kiss in center and let cool.

Makes 36 cookies.
