MACARONI SAUTE 
8 slices bacon, cut up
2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni (8 oz. pkg.)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove minced or garlic powder
3 c. tomato juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tbsp. pepper

Fry bacon until crisp in electric skillet set at 350 degrees. Remove bacon and drain on paper towel. Add macaroni, onion, green pepper and garlic to bacon fat and saute about 5 minutes or until macaroni turns slightly yellow. Add tomato juice and seasonings.

Turn control to 200 degrees and bring to a boil, stirring often. Cover skillet and continue cooking for 20 minutes. Add more tomato juice if needed. Remove cover. Crumble bacon over macaroni for garnish. Serves 6.
