CHERRY-CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling (sm.)
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tbsp. butter
1 c. chocolate chips

Brownies: Grease and flour 2 pans; 1 9x13 pan and 1 - 8x10 pan. Mix together all the ingredients. Stir until well blended. Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

Frosting: Mix together sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the chocolate chips; stir until blended. Cool slightly. Frost brownies. Cool and cut into bars or squares.
