ENGLISH TOFFEE 
Butter a cookie sheet and sprinkle chopped nuts all over the bottom of the pan.

Use 1 pound of butter (use real butter not butter). Melt in skillet and add 2 cups sugar, bring to boil and boil for about 20 minutes to half an hour over a medium fire. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon. The butter will separate for a while and the rest of the mixture will turn a golden brown and when the butter mixes back in, pour onto the cookie sheet. Use a chocolate bar and melt on the top.
