SUGAR CRUMB PIE 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, in a tall glass of milk

Combine flour, sugar and shortening. Reserve 1 cup of crumbs for top of pie. Add baking powder and eggs to remaining crumbs. Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle crumbs over top of batter. Bake in moderate oven until a toothpick comes out clean.
