SUN GLOW SALAD | |
1 lg. box apricot or peach or orange Jello 2 c. boiling water 2 c. cold water 1 can crushed pineapple, well drained (save juice) 2 bananas, sliced 1 lg. Cool Whip 2 c. miniature marshmallows 1/2 c. pineapple juice 3/4 c. sugar 2 tsp. flour 1 egg, beaten 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 sm. pkg. coconut Mix in a large bowl: Jello, boiling water, blend well. Add 2 cups cold water, pineapple, bananas, and marshmallows. Pour into a 3 quart oblong pan or dish. Chill until firm. Cook juice, sugar, flour, egg until thick; stir in cream cheese and heat until smooth; Cool completely; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over Jello mixture. Sprinkle coconut over top and nuts if you like. Chill well. |
