CORNED BEEF 
4 lbs. beef brisket or other roast
1 tbsp. pickling spices
1 tsp. salt & pepper
3 garlic cloves
1/2 c. salt
Paprika

Place roast in glass container, add enough water to cover, then add rest of ingredients. Gauge paprika as to how red you want your meat to be. Let marinate in refrigerator for 10 days. Rinse meat with cold water. Place in roaster and cover with fresh water. Simmer for 4 hours.
