1 c. flour or cornstarch
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water with food coloring
1 tbsp. cooking oil

Mix first 4 ingredients well in saucepan. Stir in cooking oil. Cook over medium heat stirring and stirring until mixture pulls away from pan and forms one big lump. Dump onto waxed paper to cool. Knead until smooth and any lumps are gone. Store in zip top plastic bag.
