CRISP PICKLE MIX 
16 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
4 c. sliced onions
3 c. cauliflowerets
1 green pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic
1/3 c. canning salt
5 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
3 c. cider vinegar

Combine vegetables and garlic; add salt, cover with ice cubes, mix well. Let stand 3 hours. Drain well. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over vegetables. Bring just to boiling. Seal in hot jars. Chill before serving.
