TOMATO SOUP 
1 peck tomatoes
1 or 2 onions
1 or 2 mangoes or hot peppers
Celery or celery seed
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1/4 c. butter
Thyme (little bit)

Cook tomatoes, run through sieve (as you would for juice). Chop onions, mangoes or peppers and celery. Cook 1 hour slowly. Stir once in awhile. Combine sugar, salt, butter, thyme and add to tomato mixture. Let come to a boil. And then can. Cold pack 30 minutes.
